Sue Armour is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in the treatment of Co-occurring disorders. Sue earned her master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute in 1998, and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to working in treatment for the last seven years, Sue was an educator in the Los Angeles Unified School district for over two decades. Sue brings with her compassion, empathy, and passion for helping others. She also brings her own experiences in recovery. These qualities are reflected in the therapeutic relationships she builds with her clients.
In individual therapy, Sue integrates CBT, DBT, Humanistic, Family Systems, and Person-Centered therapy to provide her clients an opportunity to work through issues that are necessary for growth, and success in recovery.
Sue has been trained in Brainspotting to treat addiction and is currently continuing her education in Brainspotting to treat trauma.
