I can’t say enough good things about the people at Lifesync Malibu. I came in broken on September 2nd 2020 and had just gotten out of the emergency room. I had passed out drunk and fell down a cliff into a ditch. Luckily a Good Samaritan saw me fall and called 911. I was flown to UCLA medical center with a blown pupil and bruises all over my head and body. When I woke up the following day in the ER the doctor asked why I had tried to kill myself. I explained that I was an alcoholic and was trying to get myself to detox. Fortunately the first responders had recovered my wallet and cell phone and called Lifesync Malibu. Gina answered because she was the last person I called and sent an Uber to get me there. When the staff saw me they welcomed me with compassion and love even though I had been there numerous times and left against doctors/medical advice so many times in the last. Today I’m coming up on a year of sobriety and it all started with Lifesync encouraging me to work through my fears and get honest with myself. Today I work in addiction treatment and help other addicts like Lifesync helped me. Thank you Gina, Jolie, Gary, Sabrina, Randy, Taylor, Paige, Harry, Natalia, and Dr Booth for giving me another chance in life. I’m forever grateful for the love and support that you showed me and my kids are back in my also because you never gave up on me. I love this place!

This place saved my life. I normally do not write recommendations. However, this time I must. My son checked into detox 2 days ago at 9 PM and left this morning early to go to Mexico for a plant based detox. I do not agree with this decision. Typical drug addict that knows all the answers. I sent Ryan a down payment before my son arrived for 5000 dollars.They are returning 4000.00 dollars to me. This is more than generous.I can honestly say even though my son did not stay at this clinic for more than one full day, Ryan was there on every phone call to tell me what was happening. I highly recommend this clinic for their honesty and kindness toward my son. Thank you Ryan!!!

Usually I’m not one to write reviews about anything, however, after my experience with Lifesync I felt inclined to do so. Unfortunately for me, I’ve had the pleasure of attending many facilities. Both high-end and your basic run of the mill detox. When I first got into lifesync my main goal was to just get sober again, feel like myself, and go back into the world. I wasn’t very communicative and I generally stuck to myself. The reason why I’m writing this review is because that end goal completely changed in the fact that not only did I achieve a lasting sobriety, but I also had a life changing experience while I stayed. Most facilities see patients as well, just that, patients. It took me a few days to get comfortable being detoxing off of some heavy stuff, but the whole experience of the staff and how the facility was actually run was something I’ve never experienced before. Firstly, the staff treated me like a friend, an actual human being. I came to an understanding that they truly were rooting for me to get better and change my life for the better. I saw myself becoming more inclined to opening up about my past, and the defects I struggled with on a day to day basis. That was only achieved because I was actually able to relate with the staff and my peers in my daily struggles and they helped me find a SOLUTION to my alcoholism and addiction. Their detox is high end, meals are prepared daily, and all my needs were met so I was really able to focus on bettering myself for the future. I left lifesync not only feeling better because I was sober, but they helped find a purpose, and reason to love myself for who I am. To me, that is the ultimate goal of an alcoholic and addict. Thank you, to all of the staff at lifesync and what you do. You guys really helped me see the potential I have in this amazing life I have now today.

LifeSync Malibu literally saved my life. I went through a very rough patch in my life and ended up checking into LifeSync. It was my first time in a treatment facility and I was unsure of what to expect. The staff at LifeSync is amazing, and everyone made sure I was very comfortable and taken great care of. Over the last 8 years I have been beating myself up over and over again, not appreciating who I was, I wasn’t able to see the good in myself. After being through about 35 different treatment centers, different arrests, months in jail, overdoses, hurting my family over and over again, I was given one LAST chance. I ended up at life sync. I was given the time for myself to clear my head and get away from the drugs. The staff was amazing, they helped me see the positives in everything. I came to LifeSync during the darkest time of my life after my mom passed. I felt broken, scared, and like an empty shell of a person. I was nervous when I got there. I had felt numb and alone for so long, and Zeena and Del were so warm and kind. They instantly put me at ease and I knew I was in a place where people cared and wanted to help me. I can’t thank them enough for that first night and they’ll never know how much it will always mean to me. The first couple days were pretty rough and knowing I wasn’t alone for the first time in a long time was comforting. Most of the staff are in recovery themselves and will share their experiences getting sober with you. (Thanks Mike.) I just can’t say enough nice things about LifeSync, the group and individual therapy was fantastic, we went for beach days, and I remembered how to really laugh again. If you’re reading this and wanting to get help, or you have a loved one that needs help, send them to Lifesync. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made and I’d absolutely send anyone I know and love there now too. After I left, every single person has reached out to me to see how I am doing and I know I’ve made lifelong connections. That means the world to me, and it says so much about them. I can still call at any moment to talk to someone, and I do. The future was dark and uncertain when I got there and I left full of hope and excited to start living again. Lifesync has been a great segway for a friend of mine who has been battling with both addiction and alcoholism for years now. Being at Lifesync, it seems like he’s “Comfortable with staff and actually willing to go through their process of getting sober” and most importantly…now has willingness to STAY sober. In my opinion, Lifesync isn’t one of those places where after a detox they will send you out into the real world right off the bat. The clinical team and the supportive staff surrounding understand how complex addiction and alcoholism is and being so, they do their best to introduce you into a new healthier style of living. It takes commitment and trusting of the process in order to change, and Lifesync hands down has shown me the best results I’ve seen thus far. Combine an amazingly talented and compassionate staff and team, as well as a beautiful environment, Lifesync really gives you the best chance of gaining an amazing new life.

Best experience ever! The most trained and well put together staff I’ve come along in ages. Dr Booth was onsite all the time and I felt he prescribed all the right amounts of medications! Some places are totally over-prescribed. The facility is 5 stars well kept with incredible food and the best view ever.

If you reach rock bottom, you are not alone. I lost control of my life during the winter holidays of 2018. I suffered from acute depression, anxiety and suicidal ideations because of a micromanaging boss. I started drinking excessively among other things and wanted to end my life. Thanks to Life Sync, I was able to find myself again in the most peaceful location in Malibu. I felt safe and protected from harm because of Dr. Booth and his amazing staff. I learned how to live my life again after a week of detox. Choosing LifeSync Malibu is by far the greatest decision I have made for myself & my family. When it was time to seek treatment I did my homework and couldn’t decide which treatment center to choose until a close friend suggested I look at LifeSync. As far as drug and alcohol detoxes go this one is top notch. Lifesync Malibu was the best experience I have ever had in my recovery. I’m proud to say I am one of the first graduates of their RTC program. The techs are all outstanding and personally involved in recovery. They invested in my wellbeing and are still caring for my sobriety today. The program manager, Mike, could not be more proactive. Anything that needed to get done was handled immediately. I saw the program blossom before my eyes and I firmly believe that the outline they have is a recipe for success. The facilitators are outstanding. Sue works excellent deep and meaningful process groups. They offer gym time and yoga, mindfulness meditation and education courses to equip addicts to fight this disease. In all my years in recovery I have never learned so much so quickly of the science behind addiction. Ryan bent over backwards to rescue me while I was using and bring me into the detox. Lifesync picked me up and brought me to the facility. Still after I left the program Ryan continued to support my recovery. Lifesync never gives up on its clients. I feel so lucky that I found lifesync. I firmly feel that I am sober today and able to manage my addiction because of the tools I acquired in my 30 days in residential. I could go on about the maid service, the wonderful chef, the beautiful house, and the wonderful view. But the important thing is that you can really get sober here. The staff believes in you. There’s no place better to go.

My substance abuse brought me to LifeSync located in Malibu, California. Initially it was a hard decision even knowing that I needed a lifestyle change for the better. I reached out to Ryan Gartrell, Director of Business Development. He helped me through the initial process giving me all the details that I needed to know in order to make the decision. For me, it wasn’t overnight and a bit scary to make the commitment. Ryan was not only an experienced professional in this field but most importantly he was understanding and positive. He was patient as he knew that decisions such as these needed to be made comfortably and confidently. I soon made the decision to change my life. I met with Dr. Booth and his staff. Dr. Booth gave me his undivided attention as he made me feel like we were a team in making the best decisions together for my health. He is a good listener, well versed in this field and experienced. He cares for his patients’ recovery and suggests all medical methods that can be used to help his patients’ success. Dr. Booth’s staff was very attentive with High Medical standards. They were all very caring and helped with any questions or concerns. Availability was 24 hours a day. The Home/facility is immaculate, spacious with gorgeous views that help with relaxation and serenity during the process. The patients were provided a daily preset menu by the chef that was healthy keeping us well balanced. We had daily schedules that consisted of group therapy sessions, group recovery activities, outside meetings (i.e. AA & SOBA) that is part of the program . The staff is always open to suggestions. LifeSync provided all that I needed to help in the initial detox phase as well as the recovery stage. On going therapy and hard work is always still needed in the coming years for me, however, I feel that LifeSync set me up for success. If ever I need any kind of help in the future I know that Dr. Booth and his staff is there to help me with anything that I need. This place was fantastic. The marketing director Ryan worked so fast and diligently to get me in as quickly as possible and made the transition smooth. The staff were simply beautiful. It’s been really hard for me to get sober the past couple years until I went to life sync Malibu. They really helped me out a lot and showed me the way. The staff is amazing Gary, Taylor, Mike and Natalia. Also the doctor is amazing and really gives you the best care. Lifesync really cares about their patients. It’s nothing but love I get from this place. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t know where I would be.

Anything you need they will help you out and go above and beyond for you. I owe it to them for everything they have done. They are the best treatment center I’ve ever been to.

I had the pleasure of working with Staff while my good friend was in detox and then residential at this facility.

I have personally been in treatment centers in the past and wish I was able to say I attended this place. I have never met a staff member who was so helpful, kind and relatable. This is a tough industry to work in, lack of patience and understanding is NOT something they have. Oftentimes I feel like you are just another “patient” at these places. I was truly blown away with how attentive everyone is and how happy the clients are given the circumstances. The views are just INSANE and the house has a very welcoming vibe. I have stayed for lunches while visiting and the food is not lacking anything. Lots of snacks throughout, open cigarette breaks for the people who find that important and my friend is able to call at any time and they actually give her the phone when I call. Which is so important when you have a loved one in a treatment center, anyone who has been on the other side of the fence can really see how beneficial that small detail is.
I have observed some of the groups here and they are as close to one on one therapy as it comes and not the cookie cutter worksheet bullshit you get at other centers.

I have recommended these places numerous times and I have never gotten anything other than a serious thank you from anyone who has taken the suggestion.

Really wish more places were as true to recovery as this place.

This place is amazing! I came in broken and in pieces and my life was in ruins. I came straight from the emergency room having almost died from alcohol. My oldest daughter was not speaking to me and my therapist started encouraging me to make amends. Little by little I made contact and we started speaking again. Lifesaver- I arrived at Lifesync Malibu, a broken, empty, and hopeless shell of a man. I was greeted with a smile by a lovely, kindhearted staff that immediately took me in and made sure I was comfortable. the house; beautiful, the view; overlooking almost 360 degrees of pacific ocean. If I were to start writing in-depth about the food I would need to write a novel, so lets just say that everything I ate during my stay at Lifesync was SUPERB. The groups and facilitators were engaging yet real enough to get through to the root problems we deal with as addicts. I have been to more treatment centers than I’d like to admit (15+) and Lifesync Malibu tops them all in every way. Thank you for saving my life when I needed it most.

I was here for sixty days. It’s absolutely AMAZING! I read a few reviews from people who obviously haven’t worked a program. They don’t put up with drug seeking behavior and will not allow people to act out of their character defects. These people nurtured the hell out of me. I am still an active member of their alumni network. Ryan is an amazing source that will go above and beyond to work with Insurance and connections to set up payments and set you up with sober living. Mike is one of the most reactive managers I’ve ever met. I’ve never known someone who handles issues so quickly. I’m forever thankful for Duke, Randy, Rachel, and Cilantro for being there… really really being there. When I was detoxing. Crying. Withdrawing. I can’t tell you how much these individuals put their hearts into their work. Honestly, it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever set foot in. But it is also a full day of a program that taught me the true nature of addiction and gave me the building blocks to a new life. I have relationships, a job, health, and love in my life because they cared enough to be professional and passionate towards me. I’m forever thankful. And if I ever lose my way, they will be who I call for help!

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Life Sync on multiple occasions and the clinical team is strong and supportive. The staff establishes clear lines of communication with patients and family members to enable a smooth treatment process, which isn’t always the case at other centers. A friend of mine in the program was staying here at Lifesync,this is without a doubt the best rehab in Malibu or anywhere. First off it is an absolutely beautiful and breathtaking , panoramic view overlooking the ocean . The staff is so friendly and so warm hearted. The food was handmade with love by a professional chef and so delicious. Everyday is designed to fully support the clients wellbeing and give them the tools for recovery . I absolutely recommend this amazing place to anyone who needs help , it cannot be done alone and they help you every step of the way.

LifeSync Malibu Detox is hands down the best possible option for anyone struggling with substance abuse/Mental Health. Lifesync Malibu has saved my life and has been a part of my recovery every step of the way. Even up discharge Lifesync Malibu remained in my support group and was always available for anything I needed. The staff is what makes this facility stand out from other detox/rehabs. Everyone from the clinical directors to the nurses everyone is family and the welfare and care of the client has and always will remain the staff’s top priority. I owe everything I have to who I have become to Lifesync and the magical program they offer.
