What to Bring

Now that you’ve made the decision to come for detox and residential treatment, you may have a few questions about what you should bring. We want you to have a safe and comfortable detox and so we have come up with a list of dos and don’ts that will help you and our other clients stay safe and have an excellent experience. Most of our activities, groups, therapy sessions and treatment programming occurs at the house. Therefore, we recommend comfortable clothing that will allow you to focus on getting better.

You will have plenty of opportunities to go “off-site” during your stay. We go to the gym first thing in the morning and so work-out gear is recommended. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to go to one of the many types of 12-step and non-12-step meetings and the dress code for these is casual. On the weekends, we have many group activities that take place and so you will want to bring a few outfits for those as well. We have complied a brief list of items that we think should be helpful for you to have with you for your stay as well as a number of things not to bring.

If you have a question or concern about what to bring, please feel free to contact one of our team members and we will help you decide what to bring.
